2026 Genesis Invitational: $20 Million Purse Payouts for Jacob Bridgeman & Field

The 2026 PGA Tour calendar featured the Genesis Invitational, hosted by Tiger Woods, at the renowned Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles. As the season’s second consecutive signature tournament, it offered substantial prize money to the 50 professionals who advanced past the cut, marking its comeback to Riviera after not being held there the previous year.

Collin Morikawa had just secured a $3.6 million prize at Pebble Beach the prior week, ending almost three years without a victory. The Genesis Invitational also saw a historic moment, with Jacob Bridgeman achieving his maiden professional triumph, rising above a highly competitive field.

Securing a victory in a PGA Tour signature event is highly desirable at this stage of the schedule. With a reduced field of eight fewer competitors this week, nearly every position on the final standings resulted in increased earnings from the Genesis’s $20 million total purse.

Bridgeman is set to receive $4 million, a notable sum considering the Genesis Invitational represented the tenth consecutive signature tournament to be claimed by a unique victor. This outcome starkly contrasted with the 2024 season, where Scottie Scheffler dominated, winning half of the eight signature events.

Scheffler, consistently considered the frontrunner on the PGA Tour, was widely expected to perform well at Riviera. Despite narrowly making the cut, his impressive weekend rounds of 66 and 65 allowed him to climb to a tie for 12th place. Rory McIlroy began the final day trailing Bridgeman by six strokes and concluded the event tied for second place with Kurt Kitayama, just one shot behind the leader.

Below is a comprehensive list detailing the prize money allocated for each final ranking at the 2026 Genesis Invitational.
