AUGUSTA, Ga. — The 2026 Masters tournament is set to commence precisely at 7:25 AM ET on Thursday, April 9th, with the revered tradition of honorary tee shots struck from the first hole by golf legends Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, and Tom Watson. Following these three iconic champions as they inaugurate the competition, the remaining 91 participants in the Masters field will embark on their endeavor to secure the coveted title of Masters champion.
The complete schedule of tee times for the 2026 Masters event was disclosed on Tuesday, providing insight into when leading contenders, dark horses, former victors, and others are slated to commence their rounds at the prestigious Augusta National Golf Club.
Reigning champion Rory McIlroy is scheduled to commence his pursuit of being the first to win consecutive Masters titles since Tiger Woods did so between 2001 and 2002, with a 10:31 a.m. tee time, partnered with Cameron Young and amateur Mason Howell. Conversely, the top-ranked player globally and strong favorite, Scottie Scheffler, is positioned later in the day’s lineup, starting in the second-to-last group at 1:44 p.m. alongside Robert MacIntyre and Gary Woodland.
