90s & 2000s NBA Jerseys We Need Back

The moniker of the Toronto Raptors is quite extraordinary. Its connection to the film Jurassic Park and its widespread recognition during that era is as significant as the hypothetical existence of raptors in that particular geographical area.

However, as time has passed, the team has progressively embodied its given designation, much like a young child usually embodies the name they receive at birth.

At the outset, Toronto’s uniforms appeared to, in a way, accept the unusual nature of the designation. The blend of purple and red created a striking, unconventional, and visually appealing effect. Moreover, if a team carries a dinosaur-related designation, why not showcase a massive dinosaur across the front of the jersey?

In more recent times, the Raptors have seemingly distanced themselves from the actual creature associated with the designation, at least concerning visual representations. The moment has arrived to revisit that approach.
