Uncrowned provides real-time outcomes, blow-by-blow commentaries, key moments, fighter entrances, and schedule details for the Teofimo Lopez versus Shakur Stevenson boxing event this Saturday evening at Madison Square Garden, New York, New York. The WBO super lightweight championship bout, a highly awaited feature, sees Teofimo Lopez putting his title on the line against Shakur Stevenson.
Lopez, holding a record of 22 wins, 1 loss, and 13 knockouts, is undertaking his third defense of the WBO super lightweight belt, which he secured by defeating Josh Taylor in June of 2023. This fighter, who has claimed world titles in two weight classes, previously possessed the unified lightweight boxing championships after his victory over the future Hall of Famer, Vasiliy Lomachenko. His most recent appearance in the ring was last May, where he decisively overcame Arnold Barboza Jr. via a judges’ decision during an event held in New York’s Times Square.
Stevenson, undefeated with 24 victories and 11 knockouts, and currently the WBC lightweight titleholder, is moving up to the super lightweight division, aiming to clinch a world championship in a fourth weight category. Uncrowned ranks Stevenson as the world’s eighth-best pound-for-pound pugilist. A highlight of his career occurred this past July in New York, where he emerged victorious against William Zepeda in a compelling contest decided by points.
