A dispute between the frequently contentious Dillon Danis and ex-UFC standout Jorge Masvidal is escalating following the appearance of leaked direct messages on Monday.
Dillon Danis is set to participate in his first Real American Freestyle bout next weekend, facing Colby Covington, while simultaneously nurturing an evolving conflict with a past adversary of Covington’s.
Having rejoined professional MMA last year with a swift 15-second victory against Warren Spencer, Danis seeks significant confrontations as he revitalizes his journey in combat sports. Following his triumphant MMA comeback under the Misfits banner, Danis might be poised for prominent contests in 2026.

Masvidal withdrew from professional mixed martial arts after his defeat to Gilbert Burns at UFC 287. He hinted at an MMA comeback for the UFC’s White House event set for later this summer, yet ultimately was not included.
