Craig Melvin, the co-host of Today, recently shared some “breaking family news” featuring his spouse, Lindsay Czarniak.
The NBC broadcaster turned to Instagram on Sunday, August 9, to distribute the wonderful update. “A bit of breaking family news,” the 47-year-old Melvin started. “CBS Sports is bringing on Lindsay Czarniak to serve as a host for @CBSSportsHQ.”
The supportive husband added, “Czarniak is set to debut this evening at 7:30 PM ET. Thrilled. Happy. Proud.”
Within the comment section, fans of Melvin gathered to congratulate Czarniak on her fresh position at CBS Sports HQ, with one follower writing, “Congratulations!” accompanied by a fire emoji.
A different social media user commented, “Big congratulations to Lindsay! It was always a pleasure watching her on ESPN—she truly ranks among the top professionals in the field!”
Another fan chimed in, “Way to go Lindsay!! This is incredible!!” paired with a clapping hands emoji.
Kaylee Hartung, a contributor for Today, left a comment with three clapping emojis as well.
At the same time, another person on Instagram remarked, “Go Lindsay!! That is absolutely wonderful!!”
Melvin, 47, and Czarniak, 48, tied the knot back in 2011 and are parents to two kids: a 12-year-old son named Delano and a 9-year-old daughter named Sybil.
Alongside her latest gig at CBS Sports HQ, Czarniak hosts a fresh series on Investigation Discovery titled Game Day Murders, which features Shaquille O’Neal as an executive producer.
Before this, Melvin’s partner served as an NFL sideline reporter for Fox Sports. She also anchored SportsCenter on ESPN between 2011 and 2017, and spent time at the Washington, D.C.-based NBC affiliate, WRC-TV.
