Carey Price is poised to enjoy a memorable reception at the Bell Centre, taking in the appreciation of the only fan base he represented over his distinguished NHL career.

On Tuesday, the Montreal Canadiens announced that Price will make an appearance at the Bell Centre on Nov. 10 to recognize his induction into the Hall of Fame, scheduled for the preceding evening.

Price is set to become the 62nd individual affiliated with the franchise to join the Hall of Fame. He will subsequently be enshrined in the Ring of Honour at the Bell Centre, a space dedicated to celebrated alumni who have reached hockey’s ultimate heights.

The goaltender dedicated his entire 15-year professional run to Montreal.

Across 712 regular-season games, he registered a 2.51 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage, cementing his place as the organization’s leader in both goalie appearances and victories.

The tribute for Price will take place during a game against the Minnesota Wild.

The netminder was selected as an All-Star seven times and was originally taken fifth overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

Montreal’s pre-season schedule gets underway on Sept. 19, with the squad launching its regular-season campaign on Sept. 29 on the road in Toronto against the Maple Leafs.
