Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. is listed as questionable for the upcoming Dallas Cowboys match against the Green Bay Packers this Sunday evening at Lambeau Field due to an ankle injury.

According to the final injury report, Porter was limited on Wednesday, had full participation on Thursday, and returned to being limited on Friday.
Ed Werder from WFAA shared on Saturday that Porter sustained a rolled ankle during practice this week. A source informed Werder that Porter is eager to participate and that his game status isn’t connected to his contract situation.
Joey Porter Jr. has made one appearance for the Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys acquired Porter from the Pittsburgh Steelers on October 1, sending a sixth-round pick in 2027 and a second-round pick in 2028 to the Steelers, as announced by the Cowboys.
He had been inactive for all three of the Steelers’ games due to a back issue while involved in a contract dispute with Pittsburgh. At 26 years of age, Porter is currently in the last year of his rookie contract.
Porter debuted with the Cowboys in a 34-30 victory against Houston on October 4. However, he missed Dallas’ 24-16 home defeat against Tampa Bay due to illness just four days later.
Stephen Jones states Joey Porter Jr. is “all in”
The Cowboys have no intentions of negotiating an extension with Porter this season. Executive vice president Stephen Jones rejected the notion of a hold-in scenario on Friday during an appearance on 105.3 The Fan.
“Oh, absolutely, I think he’s fully committed,” Jones said, via The Athletic’s Jon Machota. “He wants to be out there. He was ill [in Week 5 against the Buccaneers]. He was unable to compete last week due to the flu. But he did play in our [Week 4 matchup against the Texans], and I believe he’s excited about what he can contribute to our success against the Packers.”
Porter mentioned earlier this week that he anticipates a full-time role against Green Bay, according to ProFootballTalk.

Cobie Durant (hamstring) will not play after missing every practice this week. Ameer Speed (knee) is questionable after participating in limited sessions on Thursday and Friday, while Shavon Revel Jr. (knee) practiced fully throughout the week.
The Cowboys are currently at the bottom of the NFL in opponents’ passer rating (120.5) after five games, as reported by Field Level Media.

Inactive lists are required to be submitted 90 minutes before the 7:20 p.m. CT kickoff.
