Alabama has announced that it has “taken appropriate measures” against a supporter who was observed making contact with Georgia’s Raylen Wilson’s helmet following the Bulldogs’ victory over the Crimson Tide during Week 6.
A video that emerged on social media post-game shows a frustrated Alabama fan hitting Wilson’s helmet with his right hand while shouting, “Let’s go boy, let’s go boy, get the f*** out of here,” as Wilson moves away from the stands toward the end zone.
“Alabama has pinpointed and taken appropriate measures against the individual involved in the videos that are circulating on social media subsequent to Saturday night’s football match,” the athletic department informed Al.com. “We treat issues of this nature with seriousness and will not accept such behavior.”

Georgia emerged victorious with a score of 20-17, propelling them to No. 1 in the AP Top 25 following Texas’ defeat to Oklahoma earlier that same day. The Bulldogs secured the win after a personal foul penalty on Alabama just before the two-minute warning enabled them to run down the clock. Earlier in the fourth quarter, it also appeared that officials overlooked a clear pass interference penalty on Georgia in the end zone.
After the match, ESPN posted a video on its social media platforms showing Alabama fans throwing items onto the field as Georgia players made their way into the visiting team tunnel.
This victory marked Georgia’s second consecutive win over Alabama since the Tide defeated the Bulldogs in September 2025. Georgia went on to win the rematch in the SEC championship game, securing a first-round bye into the College Football Playoff. Both teams subsequently fell short in the quarterfinals, with Alabama losing to Indiana in the Rose Bowl and Georgia being defeated by Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl.
