Aline Pereira, Sister of Alex Pereira, Wins Karate Combat Title

Aline Pereira now shares a similar accomplishment with her sibling, Alex Pereira.

Karate Combat recognized a new flyweight champion on Saturday in Miami, with Pereira securing a unanimous decision victory against Fani Peloumpi in the co-main event, thus claiming the unoccupied title. Alex, the prior UFC champion in two divisions, and coach Plinio Cruz were present to support her.

Observe Pereira celebrating her triumph with her associates in the clip provided.

Pereira, aged 34, entered Karate Combat 56 as the clear favorite, having achieved knockout victories in her initial two appearances within the organization. Notably, Pereira frequently employs the left hook, a technique also favored by Alex during his tenure in the UFC.

While Pereira’s journey in MMA has been less successful, with a record of 1-2, she has found her niche in Karate Combat and can now rightfully consider herself a prominent figure within the league.
