Jaker Ali shone with a steady 55 off 48 balls, holding the innings together under duress. Mahedi Hasan contributed a valuable push in the central overs with a brisk 33 off 25 deliveries, adding impetus when Bangladesh were struggling at 28 for 4.
In general, Pakistan’s bowling performance was satisfactory. Salman Mirza stood out as the top bowler with two dismissals and accurate deliveries. Ahmed Daniyal and Abbas Afridi also secured two wickets each. The bowlers maintained control, preventing Bangladesh from establishing any substantial partnerships.
Faheem Ashraf’s valiant attempt concludes in disappointment
