Comic Con India is scheduling its well-known popular culture gathering in Rajasthan’s main city, Jaipur, making its inaugural appearance there.
The Comic Con India event is scheduled to occur from January 4th to 6th, 2026, and will be held at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC).
This fresh iteration is being arranged in collaboration with the Government of Rajasthan, operating under its AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics) framework. Entry tickets are being offered exclusively through the District application by Zomato.
Nodwin Gaming, who are organizing the event, shared via a statement that the festival plans to present comic releases, fancy dress contests, VR and virtual game areas. It will also host discussions involving established creators and film producers.
Guests will have opportunities to check out top Indian comics like Suppandi, Chacha Chaudhary, and Shikari Shambhu, along with access to international brands and product sale spots.
The Jaipur Comic Con will happen at the same time as the Rajasthan DigiFest × TiE Global Summit 2026. Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Head of the TiE Global Summit and Previous Head of TiE Global, mentioned that the joint event wants to support local artists and increase work prospects.
Akshat Rathee, Co-founder and MD at NODWIN Gaming, said: “We have been meeting supporters from Rajasthan at Comic Con for several years. They have told us about how they would travel overnight to nearby places to attend the event.”

Comic Con India extends its reach
The Jaipur announcement comes as Comic Con India plans to include more cities, following its purchase by NODWIN Gaming during 2024.
Most recently, Comic Con occurred in Hyderabad, held alongside the DreamHack festival as well.
Coming up soon are events in Delhi (December 5th to 7th), Bangalore (December 20th and 21st), plus Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, and Mumbai.
