The ultimate matches of the **Madden Championship Series (MCS)**, according to an **EA Sports** announcement, will be held in San Francisco, California.

This year’s culmination of the $1 million (approximately £747,540) **Madden NFL 26** esports competition is scheduled as a key component of EA Sports’ activities during **Super Bowl LX** week, commencing on February 8th, 2026.

Elite competitors are set to clash live in San Francisco, vying for the championship title and a significant portion of the total prize money. Spectators can follow the action on the official EA Sports Madden NFL **Twitch** and **YouTube** streams.

This competition is one among several engagements organized by EA Sports during the **Super Bowl LX** week. Another notable engagement involves the **Madden Bowl** fan experience, conducted in collaboration with the worldwide payment corporation **Visa**.

“The week of the Super Bowl represents a worldwide festivity for sports enthusiasts, a custom that EA Sports has upheld for many years,” remarked **Evan Dexter,** **VP, Franchise Strategy and Marketing at EA Sports**.

“As **Super Bowl LX** takes place this year in the Bay Area, close to our main global offices, we are escalating our efforts significantly, crafting memorable moments and expanding opportunities for fans globally to participate, observe, contend, and engage.”

These final contests mark the conclusion of the **MCS 26 circuit**. The eleventh season of this circuit, initially revealed in August, featured three separate tournaments along with a final qualification round, offering participants one last chance to secure a spot in the Madden Bowl.

Expansion of NFL Electronic Sports

In addition to the Madden Championship Series, EA Sports has persistently broadened the NFL’s presence in competitive gaming worldwide. Last November, the company staged the **Madden NFL 26 International: Madrid Challenge** within Spain’s capital city. The two top contenders from this competition were awarded a journey to Real Madrid’s **Santiago Bernabéu** venue.

This particular event represented the second instance of an NFL electronic sports tournament occurring beyond U.S. borders. Earlier, in March, EA Sports held **the current year’s version of the Madden Bowl in London**.
