The elimination rounds for ESL Pro League Season 22 have reached their conclusion, designating four squads who will now compete after successfully advancing through localized showdowns.
Because of this, these four teams have secured entry into the competition’s opening phase, scheduled from September 27th to October 1st, 2025.
Europe
With known entities like Team Liquid, Fnatic and Nemiga Gaming at the forefront of the European qualifying matches, spectators anticipated that a prominent name from the region would obtain a position in the Pro League.
Team Liquid was unable to reach Stage 2, suffering defeat at the hands of Sashi Esport. The Danish team also eliminated Fnatic in the quarter-finals of Stage 2.
Following the exit of two major competitors, the Ukrainian team, Team NEXT LEVEL, persisted, achieving victories over 9INE, Passion UA, and Sashi Esport to progress into the upper bracket final.
A 2-1 triumph over Nemiga led to a showdown with PARIVISION in the Grand Final. NEXT LEVEL achieved a 2-0 victory, claiming a place in Pro League.
North America
After an underwhelming performance at the BLAST.tv Austin Major, the North American qualifiers featured M80 back in the competition following the departure of Ethan ‘reck’ Serrano.
M80 secured a spot in Stage 2 effortlessly, overcoming Outfit 49 with a 2-0 win, progressing to the subsequent qualifier phase. Consecutive wins over MarcaRegistrada and BLUEJAYS gained the team entry into the upper bracket final.
After a 2-1 loss to Getting Info, M80 moved to the lower bracket. However, a 2-0 sweep against Marsborne established a rematch against Getting Info in the Grand Final. M80 overturned the previous loss with a 2-0 win, accompanying NRG as the second North American representative in Season 22 of Pro League.
South America

The South American qualifier presented some notable regional players aiming to contend at the international tier. After a surprising journey at the Austin Major, Legacy returned, accompanied by 9z, Elevate and Imperial Esports.
9z, Legacy, and Imperial all progressed to Stage 2. Imperial overcame 9z in the semi-final, while Legacy triumphed over Sharks Esports, resulting in a competitive face-off in the upper bracket final.
Imperial prevailed over Legacy, achieving a 2-1 score and earning the first Grand Final spot, whereas Legacy overcame Sharks Esports in the lower bracket final to secure the second.
After an intense final, Legacy took the win, attaining a place in Pro League, while maintaining their notable form from the Major.
Asia
The impact of Asian Counter-Strike 2 persists on the international stage, demonstrated through the regular presence of teams like TYLOO and Lynn Vision Gaming in Tier 1 tournaments.
Eight teams, including IHC Esports, Chinggis Warriors and HOTU, progressed to Stage 2, with HOTU and IHC Esports securing their places in the Grand Final.
HOTU demonstrated clear dominance, claiming Nuke and Train, both with 13-3 scores, to attain the concluding Pro League position.
