The Esports Awards has revealed a collaboration with the gaming and esports recruitment platform Hitmarker prior to the upcoming annual celebration.
Due to this agreement, Hitmarker will act as a media collaborator for the ceremony, set to feature the Decade Awards that commemorate the event’s tenth year running.
The 2025 Esports Awards will mark a decade since its establishment in London back in 2015. The categories for this year include Esports Game of the Decade, Streamer of the Decade, Esports Team of the Decade, among others.
Esports Insider has received a nomination for the Esports Content and Coverage Platform of the Decade honor.
Hitmarker joins as the third collaborator for the event, alongside sports performance brand Oakley and the Esports World Cup. Previously, in 2024, the awards presentation entered into a partnership with the Saudi-sponsored esports tournament through a three-year accord, ensuring the show’s return to Riyadh for its second occurrence on August 24th.
The Esports World Cup’s involvement has led to various figures departing from its panel as a result of associations with Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, which faces continuous accusations of sportswashing intended to divert attention from alleged human rights violations.
Since its founding in 2017, Hitmarker has evolved into a leading job board globally, specializing in the esports and gaming sector. Over the last three years, it has forged collaborations with entities such as National Student Esports and insurance provider SafetyWing.
Aside from the Esports Awards, the organization also manages the Mobies, an awards event dedicated to mobile gaming that occurred most recently in November 2024. Details about the 2025 event are yet to be announced.
