A prominent esports entity from Germany, GamerLegion, has publicly declared a cooperative venture with the online casino and sportsbook platform, LEON.Bet.
As of the announcement made on October 23rd, 2025, the arrangement will facilitate joint initiatives between the two entities, resulting in unique and specialized content coupled with innovative activations. However, the detailed monetary stipulations of this business deal were not revealed.
With LEON.Bet’s inclusion, GamerLegion’s roster of partners now includes five entities, in the company of Skin.Club, a Counter-Strike 2 virtual item trading venue.
The world of esports is not unfamiliar territory for the sportsbook LEON.Bet. They engaged in a cooperative partnership with Swedish esports organisation 9INE back in May 2024, therefore becoming their authorised online wagering associate.
Acknowledged for its contributions to Counter-Strike 2 esports, GamerLegion also fields teams for Age of Empires esports. The company has retained a squad in the strategy game since 2020, which won the World Desert Championship 2 event in 2021.
Presently holding the 15th position in October’s Valve Regional Standings (VRS), GamerLegion’s CS2 team stands as one of the 32 squads to qualify for the StarLadder Budapest Major. Scheduled to occur from November 24th to December 14th, the team enters the competition at Stage 1, with the ambition to secure a berth in the Playoffs.

During the course of 2025, an increase in betting firm participation in the esports sector has been observed.
In July, French esports group Team Vitality obtained a high-value agreement with Stake, designating it as the international gambling companion of its CS2 division.
Elsewhere, Norwegian esports company HEROIC has teamed up with Razed to provide sponsorships for its main and academy CS2 teams.

At the start of the current month, solutions provider BEBTY amplified its player props coverage spanning CS2, League of Legends, Dota 2, and VALORANT.
