GRID to provide live esports data for Clavision’s Dota 2 Masters 2025.

The esports data company, GRID, has formed a partnership with the Chinese tournament organizer Clavision. The goal of this partnership is to oversee data acquisition for the upcoming Dota 2 Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi tournament.

The agreement designates GRID as the sole data distribution partner for one of the most significant Dota 2 tournaments in Asia. This tournament is slated to occur from July 28th to August 3rd, 2025, at the Bao’an Indoor Stadium in Zhangjiakou.

“GRID is committed to making sure that every aspect of Snow-Ruyi is accurately recorded, broadly distributed, and amplified — from the live matches themselves to all related content, statistics, and narratives,” said Cloud Guo, CEO and Founder at Clavision.

“Data is fundamentally important to the way fans engage with and enjoy esports events today. GRID consistently pioneers new approaches and defines the industry standard in this regard.”

The arrangement between GRID and Clavision is expected to generate diverse content opportunities during the competition. GRID will deliver real-time data to support live broadcasts, media reporting, and various fan engagement platforms.

“Clavision is responsible for one of the most inventive and daring displays of Dota 2 esports competition in Asia — which represents the largest esports marketplace worldwide,” said Charles Hanley-Nickolls, Chief Procurement Officer at GRID.

“Our collaborative venture will place technological innovation at the heart of Snow-Ruyi, with the goal of enriching how fans experience, share, and participate in this highly anticipated event.”

The Dota 2 Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi competition will feature 10 invited teams from across the globe, all competing for the major portion of a $700,000 (520,170) total prize money.

  • Yakult Brothers
  • Nigma Galaxy
  • Tundra Esports
  • BetBoom Team
  • Gaimin Galdiators
  • Team Yandex
  • PARAVISION
  • BOOM Esports

The Group Stage is scheduled from July 28th to 30th, involving two groups, each consisting of five teams. These teams will engage in best-of-three matches under a single Round Robin system. The Playoffs phase will span from July 31st to August 3rd, 2025, highlighting the top-performing teams in a double-elimination tournament structure. The competition will culminate in a best-of-five Grand Final.

GRID is the most recent organisation to become a partner of the Dota 2 Masters competition, which has previously been backed by other esports and gaming enterprises such as Razer and ZOWIE. GRID, as a data-gathering platform, affirms that it is relied upon by numerous esports organisers, including Riot Games, Ubisoft, KRAFTON, BLAST and more.
