HEROIC has publicly stated the transfer of Belarusian Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) competitor Andrey ‘tN1R’ Tatarinovich from their active lineup.
The player, specialized as a rifler, will leave the Norwegian professional gaming entity after the conclusion of the 2025 Esports World Cup, scheduled from August 20th to 24th, 2025.

On August 12th, the organization verified tN1R’s exit from the team through a statement on social media platforms, confirming that the player’s predetermined release fee has been fulfilled.
Of particular importance, HEROIC has not yet communicated the identity of the organisation which has acquired the player.
The transfer of tN1R goes on with a phase of uncertainty for HEROIC, which has encountered difficulties in establishing a stable foundation for its Counter-Strike division after the BLAST.tv Austin Major. This particular transaction represents the sixth alteration to the team’s composition since the month of June.
In the time since the Major, Alvaro ‘SunPayus‘ Garcia and Eetu ‘sAw‘ Saha transitioned to G2 Esports, Gleb ‘gr1ks‘ Gazin was reassigned to a substitute role, Linus ‘nilo’ Bergman took the place of Yasin ‘xfl0ud‘ Koç, and Alimzhan ‘Alkaren‘ Bitmbai was brought in temporarily from Team Spirit‘s developmental roster.
Because of the departure of tN1R, xfl0ud has been reinstated into the primary roster to assist HEROIC in enhancing their position in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS).
The Esports World Cup presents an opportunity for tN1R to conclude his association with HEROIC in a successful manner. In their initial contest, the squad will face off against Team Spirit, the titleholders of IEM Cologne 2025.
HEROIC In 2025
The lack of consistence has left a mark on HEROIC’s displays across both virtual and physical events. Aside from their victory at the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025, the squad has struggled to achieve notable standings.
After having consecutive results with spots in the top 16 at IEM Cologne and FISSURE Playground 1, the team has dropped to position 18 in the VRS. With various teams persistently making forward steps and turning out good performances in Counter-Strike’s foremost echelon of competitions, the squad is trying to keep on to a spot within the top 32 as attention gets directed to the Budapest Major.
Notwithstanding the disruptions, HEROIC’s operational framework in Counter-Strike has always seen the organisation put resources back into its lineup by developing potential and moving them on to different teams. This happens, for the most part, while continuously occupying the qualifying slots for Counter-Strike’s premier competitions.
