Gadzhi Rabadanov continued his ascension as one of the best Lightweight fighters on the planet earlier tonight (Fri., June 20, 2025) in Wichita, Kansas, defeating Kevin Lee via first-round technical knockout (TKO).
Lee was making his Professional Fighters League (PFL) after Jay-Jay Wilson bowed out of the fight due to an injury, allowing “The MoTown Phenom” the opportunity to step in to fill the void, though he was doing it against the 2024 champion.
From the get-go, Rabadanov put the pressure on Lee, tagging him on the feet at will, Halfway through the round, Rabadanov tagged Lee with a left hook, and then a straight right that dropped the former UFC fighter, forcing him to the canvas in a shell position.
That’s all the 2024 champion needed to see to pounce, though he only was able to to deliver one more punch before the referee stepped in to put an end to the fight, which many prompted to call early stoppage. Nevertheless, Rabadanov got the win, and Lee wasn’t quick to protest.

Now, Rabadanov has the chance to win his back-to-back championship under the PFL banner as he is set to face Alfie Davis in the finals in August. Davis punched his tickets to the $500,000 fight by defeating Brent Primus earlier in the night.
