The Kings of Honor Global Tournament (KWC) has concluded, yet a wealth of international and local competitive gaming events remain for the title during 2025.

Level Infinite has shared information about a fresh addition to its collection of global competitions, known as the Regional Brawl, alongside the specified host location and compensation for the final KIC of the year. Furthermore, the company announced that the highest-ranked duo from the KIC will travel to China to participate in another worldwide event.

The Kings of Honor Regional Brawl is expected to serve as the third intercontinental competition on the 2025 esports schedule, following the Invitational and Global Tournament.

This contest will exclusively showcase teams representing three regions: Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. The launch event is slated to unfold in Malaysia this coming October.

It is projected that premier squads from each nation’s domestic leagues will secure invitations. These regional face-offs encompass the following:

  • Indonesia King Laga (IKL): August 22nd to October 5th
  • Malaysia Honor of Kings League (MKL): September 5th to October 19th
  • Philippines King League (PKL): August 29th to October 12th

Adding to that, past victors from each of the three leagues will acquire a team-inspired Flowborn costume.

Details such as the total rewards, structure, and precise timetable for the Regional Brawl are still pending disclosure. Given the MKL’s finale on October 19th, the event will likely occur towards the month’s end.

The 2025 Kings of Honor International Championship is slated to occur in November. This year, the competition will unfold in the Philippines, with the KIC receiving a bespoke character appearance.

This signifies the second worldwide event for Kings of Honor within the Philippines this year, since the 2025 Invitational was staged in the same nation back in March.

Just as in the previous year, Chinese teams will be absent from the tournament. However, the top three squads from the KIC will earn entry to the Challenger Cup in China this December.

The Challenger Cup constitutes a sought-after Chinese event in the calendar year. It has happened following the King Pro League Grand Final since 2021. For the first occasion, this tournament will extend invitations to teams external to China via the AIC.

The decision to isolate Chinese and global Kings of Honor tournaments while establishing a route for their eventual encounter is intelligent. This is justified by China’s comparative advancement in Kings of Honor player development, resulting in its dominance during global competitions.

Evidence was presented during the recent KWC in Riyadh, where a pair of Chinese squads only forfeited a single match out of 17 games fought against teams from across the globe.

Further Projections for Kings of Honor Esports throughout 2025?

Apart from these fresh occurrences, the leagues within other regions will also commence shortly. The planned schedule is as follows:

  • Wildcard Kings Series (WKS): September 5th to 7th
  • Honor of Kings Brazil Championship (CHOKBR): September 5th to 28th
  • Major East League (KME): September 11th to 28th
  • Major West League (KMW): September 11th to 28th

“We have engineered a competitive gaming environment for participants from around the globe,” stated James Yang, Senior Director at Level Infinite Global Esports Centre. “More than 160,000 competitors have crafted personal competitive stories. These tales are visible around the world, materializing in each player’s daily existence.

“As we move into the latter part of 2025, we’ll present these stories with heightened intensity, offering larger competitions, simplified entry conditions, and expanded opportunities for players to leave their imprint.”

Finally, the Kings of Honor Open Series and Campus Series (KCS) are also programmed for revival. Leading teams emerging from the Open Series may also secure a chance to compete at the KIC. Recently, Twisted Minds progressed via the Open Series for the KWC and ultimately achieved fourth position.
