Imperial Esports has publicized the competitors who will comprise its European Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) developmental squad.

In association with digital betting platform Gamdom, the developmental lineup signifies the Brazilian esports entity’s move into Europe.

Announced on August 27th, Imperial Esports asserts that the formation of a European developmental roster ‘is a crucial measure’ in the organisation’s strategy to broaden its activities across the globe.

The initiative intends to present an arena to mold the upcoming cohort of CS2 players aspiring to confirm their position within the global arena.

The introductory developmental roster showcases the Danish partnership of Tristan ‘sh1Fu‘ Jensen and Frederik ‘Kragh‘ Kragh, the Ukrainian combination of Maksym ‘ta9zqq‘ Hrytsai and Artem ‘oNESTLY‘ Kobziev, and a 20-year-old Russian marksman Nikita ‘Aliot‘ Kovalev.

“The Gamdom Imperial Academy embodies more than simply a team; it’s an allocation to the prospects of esports,” the organisation conveyed on X (Twitter).

“By merging Imperial’s culture and triumphant principles with Europe’s budding talents, our objective is to cultivate a setting where aptitude flourishes, discipline is ingrained, and victors are shaped.”

The establishment of the Gamdom Imperial Academy constitutes the third CS2 roster deployed by the organisation. Aside from the developmental faction, it also fields a women’s roster and its central roster, which regularly participates in Tier 1 competitions.

Imperial Esports in 2025

Imperial Esports stands as the most recent entity to manage a developmental roster. It accompanies the likes of Berlin International Gaming (BIG) and The MongolZ, which have extended into deploying squads with ambitious players aspiring to pursue a career in CS2 esports.

Throughout 2025, the team has engaged in several Tier 2 tournaments, attaining triumph at Circuito FERJEE 2025 with a 2-0 conquest over fellow South American entity Legacy.

Presently ranked 43rd in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), Imperial resides slightly beyond the top 32, which dictates the teams that qualify for the StarLadder Budapest Major in November.
