The Chinese esports association Invictus Gaming (iG) has declared a collaboration with the dairy company Jule (菊乐).

While the precise monetary details and timeframe of the arrangement remain confidential, the partnership will showcase the Jule emblem on the right area of the squad’s uniform and outerwear.

Furthermore, this cooperative effort will also present the introduction of branded merchandise displaying iG’s esports competitors, along with a specially crafted flavor.

The dairy producer based in Chengdu is the newest entity to become a member of iG’s partnership roster, which already encompasses entities like the gaming chair manufacturer TGIF, the internet café franchise WangYu (网鱼), and the streaming platform Huya.

The announcement of the alliance took place during the LPL Split 3, where iG is participating against other leading teams to secure a position in the annual League of Legends World Championship, scheduled to occur in China next October.

Given that the Grand Finale is set to occur at the Chengdu Dong’an Lake Sports Park Arena on November 9th, boasting a seating capacity exceeding 18,000, the backing might represent a substantial chance for Jule to interact with the League of Legends esports enthusiasts while also leveraging its association with one of the more prominent teams operating in the Chinese competitive landscape.

iG relies on the participation of accomplished players such as Kang ‘TheShy’ Seung-lok and Song ‘Rookie’ Eui-jin, who made a comeback to the organisation earlier in the year after securing victory at the World Championship back in 2018.

Invictus Gaming focuses its energy on League of Legends

Following its announcement of a restructuring initiative towards the conclusion of 2024, which involved the incorporation of Huya and the multi-channel network Young Sports as stakeholders, Invictus Gaming is presently concentrating primarily on its League of Legends squad. Previously, the organisation maintained teams in Dota 2, StarCraft II, and Overwatch, amongst other games, but these teams have all been dissolved over time.

Earlier in the year, iG also revealed a Mobile Legends roster to vie for supremacy in the freshly established domestic league. Nonetheless, the team was unsuccessful in qualifying for the Mid-Season Cup, as it concluded its campaign in the bottom four of the Chinese qualifying round.
