Ja’Marr Chase Joins Fabletics, Ends Nike Deal

According to information from Jordan Schultz, Ja’Marr Chase, the celebrated Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver, is transitioning from Nike to Fabletics, a clothing enterprise backed by comedian Kevin Hart.

Chase is set to be the inaugural NFL player to team up with the brand. He recently featured in Nike promotional material as recently as March and has been associated with Nike for at least the past year.

Back in March, Chase formalized a four-year contract extension with the Bengals valued at $161 million, equating to an annual average of $40.25 million, making it the most lucrative salary for any non-quarterback upon signing. Chase earned first team All-Pro recognition last season and participated in his fourth Pro Bowl over his four seasons. He topped the league charts with 127 catches, 1,708 receiving yards, and 17 touchdowns. Additionally, Chase averaged 100.5 receiving yards each game and amassed 787 yards following catches, both figures leading the NFL.

The Bengals selected Chase as the fifth overall pick from LSU in the 2021 draft.

Fabletics originated in 2013, co-created by Don Ressler and Adam Goldenberg, with actress and businesswoman Kate Hudson acquiring an equity stake in 2015. Hart curates his exclusive collection named “The Kevin Hart Shop” within the Fabletics framework, and up to this point, the brand has predominantly collaborated with celebrities like Khloe Kardashian and Demi Lovato.
