Following reports that the New York Giants were transitioning to Jaxson Dart as their quarterback, head coach Brian Daboll officially confirmed the decision Wednesday, stating Dart would be the starting quarterback for the remainder of the season, supported by Russell Wilson.
Dart’s inaugural game is against the Los Angeles Chargers, featuring one of the NFL’s top defensive units, presenting a considerable challenge. However, the Giants possess promising talent around Dart, potentially securing the positions of Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen.
“I’m prepared,” Dart stated Wednesday. “… While I aim to maintain consistent preparation each week, the responsibilities as the starter are distinct, so I’m fully focused.”
