Golden State Warriors player Jimmy Butler experienced a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament during Monday’s victory, 135-112, against the Miami Heat, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania. This injury concludes his current season.
The incident occurred in the third quarter at the Chase Center when Butler secured a challenging pass near the basket. He subsequently landed uncomfortably on his right limb and collapsed following contact with Davion Mitchell, which resulted in a foul call.
