JioBLAST has made public its plans to initiate All Stars vs India alongside Campa Energy, a contest driven by content creators that will spotlight Battlegrounds Mobile India.
This occasion is anticipated to unfold during the GamingCon Bharat convention from November 29th to 30th at NESCO, Mumbai, signifying JioBLAST’s initial step into the Indian esports arena.
All Stars vs India presents an avenue for enthusiasts to engage either alongside or against their beloved personalities, with sign-ups accessible through the JioGames application until the 14th of November.
The competition is designed to host a pair of separate events — the Jio Solo contest, exclusive to Jio clients, and a Team challenge welcoming all Indian participants. A cumulative prize fund of ₹1m (~$12,100/£9,700) is set for distribution.
Charlie Cowdrey, Chief Executive Officer at JioBLAST, commented: “We are excited about the debut of JioBLAST All Stars vs India, a format prioritising fans and leveraging creator influence, aiming to introduce India’s next cohort of gaming talents. This signifies just the outset of JioBLAST’s objective to transform entertainment through competition in India, marked by enhanced events, more impressive participant rosters, and evolving formats each season.”
Among the prominent content creators participating are Payal ‘Payal Gaming‘ Dhare, Siddhant ‘ShreeMan LegenD‘ Praveen Joshi, Parv ‘Soul Regaltos‘ Singh, and Raj ‘Snax Gaming‘ Varma. This set of tournaments will also unfold in partnership with Campa Energy, an energy drink enterprise headquartered in India.
Megha Raturi, Chief Marketing Officer at Reliance Consumer Products Ltd, expressed: “Campa Energy is more than just a beverage product; it embodies a mindset. By aligning with JioBLAST, we are immersing ourselves in the spirit of India’s determined young population, the very individuals who are rewriting the dynamics of competitive spirit and perseverance via the medium of gaming.”
JioBLAST, the collaborative effort between BLAST, a tournament coordinating organisation, and Rise Worldwide, an Indian company specialising in sports and lifestyle, is the driving force behind the event.
