Miller, the longest-tenured player for the Raiders, was going into the last year of his deal. Currently, as stated in various reports, he’s secured on a three-year extension valued at $66 million with $42.5 million secured.
Miller, the team’s initial pick in the 2018 draft, earlier finalized a three-year, $54 million extension in 2021. He was slated to earn $15.7 million this season. Considering his renewed contract, the 29-year-old Miller is contracted until the 2028 season.
The left offensive lineman, who is assigned to safeguard signal-caller Geno Smith’s unprotected side, will spend a decade with the Raiders by the culmination of his new contract. Although, this year will signify his first season under head coach Pete Carroll, who dedicated 13 years to the Seattle Seahawks prior to his departure following the 2023 season. The seasoned coach was appointed after the Raiders had a 4-13 record last year.

Miller’s 107 starts from 2018 rank as the 10th-most in the NFL among offensive players over that period, and the fifth-most among offensive linemen. He was the exclusive Raiders offensive player to commence in all 17 games the previous year. He’s been absent for only seven games throughout his professional career.
