Kyle Hamilton’s financial standing is about to see a significant boost.
The Baltimore Ravens and the All-Pro safety reached an agreement on a four-year extension worth $100.4 million this Wednesday, according to a source familiar with the negotiations who spoke to USA TODAY Sports’ Tyler Dragon.
The source requested anonymity because the agreement has not yet been formally announced.
This agreement positions Hamilton as the highest-paid safety in the history of the NFL. Since being drafted in 2022, he has been a crucial component of the Ravens’ defensive lineup, participating in 48 out of a possible 51 regular-season games.
The Notre Dame alumnus is now reaping the rewards, contributing to a shift in the market for a position not commonly associated with substantial earnings.
