The National Football League is now focusing on the games for Week 13, which includes three contests on Thanksgiving Day.
It seems probable that Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will participate in the final game of the Thanksgiving schedule. He was back at practice on Tuesday after being listed on Monday with a toe injury and missing that day’s practice. Despite dealing with various injuries that have caused him to miss the first practice day in recent weeks, Jackson sounded optimistic about playing against the Bengals on Thursday.
“I’m doing alright, and my toe feels good,” he mentioned.
Two wide receivers who are scheduled to compete on Thursday are also prominent in the news. Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens, who is having a standout season, had limited participation in practice on Tuesday due to knee and calf injuries. He didn’t practice on Monday. On Thursday, Dallas will play host to the Chiefs, featuring wide receiver Rashee Rice, who was fully involved in practice on Tuesday after being limited on Monday due to a hamstring injury.
The Packers could also have a key wide receiver returning on Thursday when they play the Lions. Jayden Reed hasn’t played since fracturing his collarbone in Week 2, but he practiced last week before sitting out Sunday’s victory over the Vikings.
Will he be playing on Thanksgiving? “The answer will be revealed on Thursday at midday,” said Packers head coach Matt LaFleur.
So that’s the latest.

According to the injury report for Thursday’s game against the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs and wide receivers Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden had limited participation in Tuesday’s practice.
Jacobs was absent from last Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings due to a knee injury sustained the previous week against the New York Giants. When Jacobs was sidelined, Emmanuel Wilson handled the majority of the carries.
Golden also did not participate in the Vikings game. The rookie receiver has been dealing with shoulder and wrist injuries. Reed has been sidelined since Week 2 of the season after breaking his collarbone. When questioned about Reed’s potential return this week, head coach Matt Lafleur stated, “You’ll find out Thursday at noon,” as per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.
Several of Green Bay’s receivers are currently struggling with injuries. Dontayvion Wicks had limited participation, while Savion Williams did not participate in Tuesday’s practice. Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs were full participants in Tuesday’s practice.

Lamar Jackson participated in the Baltimore Ravens practice on Tuesday, following his listing as a non-participant on Monday due to a newly reported toe injury.
The Ravens shared a video on Twitter showing Jackson at the start of Tuesday’s practice. However, his full participation status was not immediately clear, as the Ravens had not yet released a practice report.
This toe injury adds to Jackson’s 2025 season, which has been marked by various injuries. He missed a practice the previous week due to an ankle injury, and the week before that, he was sidelined due to knee soreness. Earlier in the season, Jackson missed three games due to a hamstring injury.
Head coach John Harbaugh stated on Monday that “he’s doing well” when asked about Jackson’s health leading up to the Thanksgiving game against the Bengals.

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels informed reporters of his desire to play again this season, contingent upon his health. Daniels stated, “If I’m healthy and ready, I want to be out there.”
Daniels sustained an elbow injury during Week 9 against the Seattle Seahawks. He opted against elbow surgery and was initially projected to be sidelined for 3-6 weeks. Consequently, Daniels has missed the last two games.
Following an evaluation after the bye week, it is reportedly expected that Daniels will miss Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos. Marcus Mariota has been the starting quarterback for the Commanders in Daniels’ absence. The Commanders currently hold a record of 3-8 this season.

The Buffalo Bills have made a roster move, signing defensive end Shaq Lawson to the practice squad and releasing defensive end Andre Jones Jr. This marks Lawson’s third stint with the Bills. He was initially drafted by the team in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft and played his first four seasons in Buffalo before joining Miami for the 2020 season. He then spent 2021 with the Jets.
In 2022, Buffalo brought Lawson back into the team, where he remained for the next two seasons before heading to Carolina for a single game with the Panthers last season. Now in his 10th season, Lawson returns to Buffalo for another opportunity at age 31.

According to the team, the Ravens quarterback did not practice on Monday due to a toe injury. This is just the latest in a string of injuries for Jackson, who was previously sidelined for three games due to a hamstring injury earlier in the season, followed by time missed due to knee soreness, and most recently, an ankle injury the previous week.
It remains uncertain whether Jackson will be unavailable for Baltimore’s Thanksgiving Day game against the Bengals, considering that the quarterback has played through his previous injuries.
