Liverpool Eye Summer Move for PSG Forward

Liverpool Transfers: Highly-Rated 22-Year-Old PSG Attacker Emerges as Possible Summer Addition

Liverpool’s active summer transfer period has been punctuated by significant player departures. The exits of Caoimhin Kelleher, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jarell Quansah, Luis Diaz, and Tyler Morton, alongside the anticipated sale of Darwin Nunez, are projected to generate around £190 million in transfer revenue.

Midfielder Harvey Elliott may also depart Anfield, as Liverpool are reportedly in discussions with RB Leipzig regarding a potential transfer worth approximately £50 million.

Despite having already invested nearly £260 million this summer, Liverpool are reportedly still pursuing a deal for Alexander Isak and aiming to bolster their defensive ranks before the window closes.

However, a recent report from L’Equipe, as cited by Anfield Sector, suggests another player is under consideration.

“BIG BREAKING: Liverpool are interested in acquiring Bradley Barcola.”

“Liverpool has been monitoring the Villeurbanne player for an extended period and might leverage this prior interest to entice the player.”

“For the club, who are currently not looking to sell, any potential offer would need to be extremely persuasive.”

The 22-year-old was instrumental in Paris Saint-Germain’s impressive 2024-25 season, where they secured a treble trophy haul.

Barcola contributed 22 goals and provided 19 assists across all competitions last season, sharing attacking duties with players such as Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue.

Liverpool have reportedly maintained a long-term interest in the French attacker and might pursue him if their efforts to sign Alexander Isak are unsuccessful due to Newcastle’s difficulties in finding a suitable replacement.

It will be interesting to observe if this reported interest develops further, as Liverpool continue what is already a significant transfer window.
