Lynn Vision Closes FISSURE Playground 2 Invitations

Lynn Vision and Legacy are included in the group of teams receiving invitations for the forthcoming FISSURE Playground 2 Counter-Strike 2 competition.

In conjunction with Lynn Vision and Legacy, HEROIC and PaiN Gaming have also agreed to participate in the second FISSURE Playground tournament of the year. For Legacy, this will mark the initial occasion the South American squad has participated at a FISSURE Playground event.

The collective of Lynn Vision, HEROIC, and PaiN Gaming will be making their second appearance at a FISSURE tournament, following their participation at FISSURE Playground 1 earlier in the current year.

Legacy is positioned as the lowest-ranked team to be invited from July’s Valve Regional Standings (VRS), holding the 21st spot. It’s important to note that all 16 teams set to compete at FISSURE Playground 2 are all situated within the top 32 rankings.

Scheduled to occur September 12th – 21st in Belgrade, Serbia, the teams in attendance will compete for a portion of the competition’s $1.25m (~£924,436) total prize money, with $200,000 (~£147,909) allocated for the tournament victor.

In addition to the prize money, VRS points will be obtainable as organizations aspire to secure a position at the StarLadder Budapest Major in November.

Stemming from a congested CS2 competition timetable, FISSURE Playground 2 coincides with StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025, a different event that utilizes July’s VRS to ascertain the teams that will be invited. With attention increasingly directed toward the Major, organizations have needed to decide which tournaments warrant priority.
