Chess of Magic: Go Go, a strategy game developed by MLBB developer MOONTON, has released details regarding qualification paths for its initial worldwide esports competition.

The MRS will function as a public qualifier for the global competition and will span across six weekends (Friday to Sunday) from September 12 to October 19. The qualification process has also been categorized into seven sections: Asia, EECA (Eastern Europe and Central Asia), Europe, Indonesia, Latin America, Malaysia and the Philippines.

Within each section, participants will need to engage in the MRS and advance via six stages. No registration is necessary, as participants are only required to launch the game during the MRS scheduled times to take part.

Participants who complete these stages will be rewarded with exclusive accomplishments. MOONTON has indicated that participants will also be granted the chance to secure a unique skin.

The in-game qualifications were initially previewed during the game’s third season upgrade, which presented significant modifications to MCGG’s arrangement.

“MRS symbolizes our goal to cultivate an engaging and dynamic competitive environment where strategy and enjoyment go together,” stated Gao “Skyhook” Chong, MCGG Producer at MOONTON Games.

“The game was created to ensure fair accessibility and the launching of MRS brings this ideal to life.”

MRS Timetable

The schedule for the interactive Open Qualifications that are a part of the MRS are presented below:

  • Start Ground: Fresh Star (September 12 to 14)
  • Community Clash: Community Star (September 19 to 21)
  • Urban League: Urban Star (September 26 to 28)
  • Subregional Contest: Subregional Star (October 3 to 5)
  • Regional Contest: Regional Star (October 10 to 12)
  • Rising Stars Trials: Rising Star (October 17 to 19)

The top Rising Stars will go head-to-head in the Section Finals, the details of which are still to be revealed. Based on this, the cream of the crop will be eligible to participate in the debut MCGG worldwide tournament.

MCGG’s Indonesian Local Tournament Goes beyond One Million Views

The kick-off of the initial MCGG international esports competition happens after local competitions in Indonesia, which is among the more well-known areas for MLBB.

Having MCGG established in the same environment, including numerous of the same highlighted figures, the region provided a great base for the launch of the title.

MOONTON reported in a statement that the third iteration of the local tournament in Indonesia, that concluded on July 13, accumulated more than 1 million views across various channels.
