
NetEase has presented its schedule of content releases for the initial portion of Marvel Rivals Season 3: The Abyss Awakens, scheduled from July 11th to August 8th, 2025.
The Season 3 schedule specifies various character appearances, a fresh time-limited activity, an additional cooperative skill, and supplementary content for participant involvement.
In an online announcement, Marvel Rivals communicated: “Uncover the forthcoming elements of our latest Season, which includes novel characters, occasions, an entirely new battle progression commencing on Day 1, and much more! A unique summertime event is also approaching, and our Rivals are prepared to confront the heat!”

Marvel Rivals mentioned that system maintenance is being conducted for the approaching season. Starting July 11th at 2am PDT (10am BST), the maintenance window is projected to span 2 to 3 hours. The game servers will be unavailable during this period.
Esports Events for Marvel Rivals Season 3
A selection of esports tournaments are set to occur throughout Season 3, offering audiences the chance to observe these novel appearances, partnerships, and other elements in active scenarios.
The most prominent event is the Marvel Rivals Ignite Mid-Season Finals, where regional titleholders, including Sentinels and Brr Brr Patapim, will compete directly for the major portion of a $500,000 (~£369,000) prize allocation.
Marvel Rivals Ignite Stage 2 is scheduled to commence on August 1st, featuring Open Qualifiers across all regions. The leading teams will then advance to contend against the invited teams from Stage 1.
Furthermore, the PlayStation Cup will be held on a monthly basis, with two challenges running from July 1st to 26th, and then from August 1st to 30th. All interested players can register for an opportunity to secure Units, a Faction Trophy, Titles, and further rewards for their respective teams.
