This is the competition he’s facing.
Once again scoring on Wednesday evening during Real Madrid’s 3-2 victory against AEK Athens, Kylian Mbappé achieved the milestone of 100 goal involvements in his Champions League journey.
With a tally of 74 goals and 26 assists, the captain of France has been involved in exactly 100 Champions League goals since he embarked on his professional career in 2016.
100 goal involvements… across 102 Champions League appearances!
As a result, Kylian Mbappé now stands alongside Robert Lewandowski as the joint-second-fastest player to attain 100 goal involvements in the Champions League, with the Polish forward also accomplishing this feat in 102 matches.
Who’s at the top? Lionel Messi, who reached that landmark in just 101 matches. Only one game faster than both Mbappé and Lewandowski.
Do you believe Mbappé is already a legend in the Champions League?
