Met Mile Winner Nysos Fifth in Longines World’s Best Racehorse Rankings

The exceptional sprinter Ka Ying Rising [130] holds the top position in the third release of the 2026 Longines World’s Best Racehorse Rankings.

This Hong Kong-based gelding did not participate in any races during the latest monitoring period by Longines, but he continues an impressive run of 20 consecutive wins.

Nysos, hailing from the U.S., who claimed victory in the Hill ‘n’ Dale Metropolitan Handicap by four lengths on June 6 at Saratoga Race Course, is currently tied for the fifth spot overall in the Longines rankings with a rating of 125. He shares this rank with Europe-based Notable Speech and Ombudsman, both of whom are set to compete at Royal Ascot next week.

White Abarrio, the winner of the Oaklawn Handicap, is expected to make his return in the Stephen Foster Stakes on June 27 at Churchill Downs. He is the next highest-rated racehorse from the U.S., sharing the eighth position with a Longines rating of 124.
