Wissa became a Brentford player in 2021, joining from the French team Lorient, where he spent three and a half years, primarily competing in Ligue 2, the second-highest division in France.
Wissa has successfully scored 45 times in the Premier League during the last four seasons, with 31 of those goals achieved after August 2023.
The player extended his contract with Brentford in May 2023, with the agreement set to conclude next summer. However, it’s believed that the contract doesn’t fully acknowledge his present significance to Andrews’ team, especially considering the departures of head coach Thomas Frank, Bryan Mbeumo, and Christian Norgaard.
