Greetings for the Week 1 analyses.

The 2025 NFL campaign has commenced, and as per our yearly custom, we shall evaluate each contest held from this moment until January.

The initial week of the season invariably introduces a degree of unpredictability, and this year proved to be no exception. In the afternoon games on Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals accumulated a mere 141 yards in their triumph over the Cleveland Browns. Additionally, the Indianapolis Colts secured their inaugural regular-season victory since 2013, largely attributable to the efforts of Daniel Jones. Indeed, that very Daniel Jones.

Aaron Rodgers exacted his retribution upon the New York Jets, requiring only a 60-yard field goal from Chris Boswell in the waning moments to achieve this. However, not every kicker demonstrated the same reliability as Boswell. In Atlanta, the Falcons possessed an opportunity to extend the game against the Buccaneers into overtime, but this prospect was thwarted by a missed kick.

Arguably, the most remarkable game transpired on Sunday night in Buffalo, where the Bills orchestrated a stunning 41-40 comeback against the Baltimore Ravens, having trailed 40-25 with a mere four minutes remaining.

It’s been an eventful week; now, the time has arrived to assess each game.
