The esports group from Europe, OG Esports, has unveiled its updated visual identity for 2026, which prominently features a green color scheme and omits the Red Bull emblem.
The fresh OG Esports insignia draws inspiration from the design the organization utilized prior to its association with Red Bull, a logo seen at competitions like The International 2016.
OG Esports initially hinted at this alteration on December 31st, 2025, through an internet skit, subsequently revealing its renewed logo the next day, accompanied by the slogan ‘green shaped our history. Now, it fuels our future.’
Additionally, the organization announced that their fresh 2026 jerseys, showcasing the updated green color palette and emblem, will be released shortly.
This shift concludes an important phase for the esports entity, as Red Bull’s branding is no longer prominently featured by the organization. OG Esports initially formed a sponsorship partnership with the energy beverage company in 2017, subsequently incorporating a comparable color theme.
Currently, it remains uncertain if OG’s collaboration with Red Bull has completely ended. Red Bull continues to be listed as a partner on OG Esports’ official website, alongside Secret Lab, Melbet, and others. Nevertheless, Red Bull’s branding is absent from their social media presence.
OG Esports Activities During 2025
The year 2025 proved crucial for OG, as it experienced significant transformations in its team lineups and internal operations.
In September 2025, the blockchain company Chiliz Group secured a 51% majority share in OG Esports. This transaction resulted in Xavier Oswald, a previous co-owner and CRO of OG, reassuming the role of CEO, concurrently with co-founders Johan ‘N0tail‘ Sundstein and Sébastien ‘Ceb‘ Debs initiating a ‘fresh strategic initiative’ focused on the squad’s ‘competitive bedrock’.
Subsequent to the acquisition, OG Esports restructured its teams, especially within its Dota 2 segment. The organization witnessed the exit of the OG.LATAM trial squad on October 21st. The organization also separated from its Dota 2 European team on October 29th, 2025.
Not until November 10th, 2025, did OG Esports introduce a new, entirely Filipino Dota 2 lineup, coinciding with the organization’s move from Europe to the Philippines.
OG Esports holds recognition as the initial, and presently sole, team in Dota 2 history to secure consecutive victories at The International (in 2018 and 2019). Following a rather modest showing in 2025, it remains to be seen if the organization can reclaim its past eminence in the upcoming year.
