Reports suggest that Manchester United’s striker, Rasmus Hojlund, might have an opportunity presented by another Premier League team.
Following the acquisition of Benjamin Sesko this summer, 22-year-old Hojlund’s place in the attack at Old Trafford is under threat. The Danish international may find it more difficult to secure playing time in the first team.
This information surfaces after The Athletic indicated that Hojlund is expected to explore potential opportunities away from Manchester United during this season, leading up to the transfer window’s deadline on September 1.
Rasmus Hojlund offered chance to continue playing in England

Hojlund frequently became a target for criticism within a struggling Manchester United squad last season due to the absence of a seasoned striker. The team concluded the season in 15th position and were defeated by Tottenham in the UEFA Europa League final.
Though offers have come in from Italian teams, Hojlund has expressed his willingness to compete for a spot on the team. However, Ruben Amorim appears to have advised the striker that, for the sake of his career, it would be best for him to leave the team, either temporarily or permanently.

According to Mail Sport, Fulham and Marco Silva are reportedly considering acquiring Hojlund. Fulham’s striker, Rodrigo Muniz, has received offers from Atalanta, which may influence Fulham’s choice to gamble on the United centre forward.
Additionally, AC Milan has engaged in discussions with Hojlund and proposed a loan arrangement with a fee of £4.5 million, along with the option to purchase him for £39 million. Napoli is also said to be expressing interest in the player, particularly as Romelu Lukaku is currently dealing with a thigh injury. The expectation is that the Belgian player will remain out of action until November.

Amorim was questioned regarding the reason Hojlund was absent from the squad during their Premier League debut against Arsenal and responded with a typically cautious statement.
“It is a competition for positions; we will observe how the market progresses, considering the different characteristics,” Amorim commented. “Rasmus [Hojlund] shares similar qualities with Benjamin Sesko, so choices need to be made at times.”

According to FourFourTwo‘s analysis, the situation appears challenging for Hojlund, especially considering Manchester United’s ongoing requirement for additional funding to strengthen Amorim’s team.
Prior to the closure of the summer transfer window, the acquisition of a new central midfielder and goalkeeper seems crucial, potentially necessitating the departure of the former Atalanta player to facilitate INEOS in completing their summer adjustments.
