PWR 2025/26 Season Fixtures Confirmed

The Premiership Women’s Rugby (PWR) schedule has been revealed for the 2025/26 campaign, with the first matches scheduled for the weekend of October 25th and 26th, 2025.

The season following a World Cup often brings numerous player movements and acquisitions, and this year is no exception.

For those concerned about experiencing any post-World Cup letdown, rest assured it will be short-lived, as the PWR’s opening weekend features a marquee matchup between three-time PWR champions Gloucester-Hartpury and last season’s runners-up, Saracens, at Kingsholm, as they both begin their respective journeys.

That game on Sunday, October 26th, will conclude the opening weekend, which begins with Harlequins facing Loughborough Lightning under the Friday night lights at The Twickenham Stoop.

Elsewhere during that weekend, Trailfinders Women (who have been at the forefront of notable signings in preparation for the season) will aim for a strong start at home against Exeter Chiefs, while Sale Sharks will welcome Leicester Tigers.

With nine teams in the league, Bristol Bears will not participate in the opening weekend, instead starting their season in round 2 away against Tigers at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.

All 75 PWR games will be broadcast live this season, with TNT Sports and BBC Sport each showcasing one game per week, and two streamed live on YouTube, providing fans with more PWR action than ever before.

The crucial part of the season will see the semi-finals take place on June 13th and 14th, followed by a week’s break before the final on Sunday, June 28th, 2025.
