Racing Bulls: Tortoise Livery for US GP

The Racing Bulls F1 establishment is scheduled to participate in this weekend’s United States Grand Prix with a distinctive tortoise-themed design.

Within the Anglo-Italian racing stable, Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson are set to operate a VCARB 02 machine adorned with a pearlescent blend of black and brown, replicating a tortoise shell pattern complemented by gold accents, thereby enhancing its customary white aesthetic.

This unique vehicle design pays tribute to the sponsor, Cash App, and their tortoise-themed prepaid Visa debit card, an innovation introduced earlier this year in collaboration with the renowned American artist, Shaboozey.

The visually appealing tortoise motif is also slated to extend to Hadjar and Lawson’s racing attire, team apparel, and the decorative elements within the garage.

“The launch of this card earlier this year was an exhilarating experience, and now witnessing its physical manifestation on an F1 vehicle is truly electrifying,” remarked Shaboozey, who also appeared in a brief promotional film highlighting the alliance.

Peter Bayer, CEO of Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, stated: “We are once again engaging with popular culture in a manner that is distinctively VCARB. These singular vehicle designs have evolved into an integral aspect of our identity, embodying instances where motorsport converges with music, fashion, and innovative expression. The design we intend to introduce on the track this weekend signifies yet another bold articulation of this ethos, and Austin serves as the ideal backdrop to bring it vividly to life.”

Previously, Racing Bulls showcased a unique magenta design at the Miami Grand Prix in May, coinciding with the introduction of a novel Red Bull flavor. Furthermore, the team collaborated with Warner Brothers for the widely acclaimed film, Twister, as part of its broader strategy to leverage popular culture in order to establish connections with F1’s expanding and increasingly diverse audience.
