Leviatán has made the announcement regarding the departure of VALORANT player Daniel ‘Rossy’ Abedrabbo, which occurred just a few months following his initial integration into the team.
This parting of ways transpires during a notably challenging season for the team, marked by significant defeats in various VCT tournaments, including the Americas Kickoff and Stage 1 events.
“Effective today, Rossy is no longer a part of our lineup. We extend our gratitude for his dedication and efforts while representing us, and we wish him success in his future endeavours,” Leviatán conveyed via a tweet.
Rossy became a member of the Argentine organisation on May 2nd, 2025, which was five months after his departure from his previous team, Cloud9, towards the conclusion of 2024.
In an online response, Rossy stated: “This year has presented unique hurdles for me on a personal level, offering a distinct set of circumstances. Nonetheless, every opportunity is invaluable, and I am sincerely grateful. I am currently seeking team opportunities as an unrestricted free agent.”
Leviatán’s Performance in VCT 2025 to Date
Apart from the recent exhibition match at the T1 Home Ground event, Rossy’s last competition was in VCT Americas Stage 1, where Leviatán ultimately finished in 10th position among the 12 participating teams.
The team experienced an early exit after securing fifth place within its designated group during the Group Stage. This year has also brought other significant defeats for the team.
While the team achieved first place in the Tixinha & Sacy Invitational, they encountered setbacks in other competitions, such as the EWC 2025 Americas Qualifier, where they concluded in seventh place overall after a defeat to KRÜ Esports in the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals.
As of now, Leviatán is actively participating in the Group Stage of VCT Americas Stage 2. The team has experienced a mix of triumphs and challenges thus far, including victories against MIBR and KRÜ Esports, as well as losses to NRG and LOUD.
Even with Rossy’s departure from the team, the organisation still has five players to advance in the competition.
Following Rossy’s departure, here is Leviatán’s current roster:
- Francisco ‘KiNgg’ Alberto Aravena
- Ian ‘tex’ Botsch
- Corbin ‘C0M’ Daniel Lee
- Anthony ‘okeanos’ Nguyen
- Eduardo ‘Sato’ Kenzo Nagahama Sato
