Sentinels, the esports organization, has revealed the addition of Jonah ‘JonahP’ Pulice to its Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2026 lineup, prior to the commencement of Stage 1 Americas.
The North American collective has not yet made a formal announcement regarding which existing member “The Professor” will be succeeding within the squad.
Nevertheless, it is implied, given that Mirel ‘Kyu‘ Hrustemovic’s X (formerly Twitter) profile lists Sentinels among his past affiliations.
“The disguise is off, JonahP is officially a Sentinel,” the organization declared via their X (Twitter) account.
As JonahP steps in to assume the role of the squad’s new initiator, Sentinels’ revised roster now comprises the following members:
- Amine ‘johnqt’ Ouarid (IGL)
- Marshall ‘N4RRATE’ Massey
- Gabriel ‘cortezia’ Cortez
- Yassin ‘reduxx’ Aboulalazm
- Jonah ‘JonahP’ Pulice
- Martin ‘Ewok’ van der Walt (Head Coach)
- Luke ‘GUNTER’ Clives (Assistant Coach)
JonahP holds a prominent position within the VALORANT competitive scene. This Canadian competitor gained initial recognition in 2022 during his tenure with The Guard, a period marked by the team’s victory over the formidable Optic Gaming to secure the VCT North America Stage 1 Challengers title. The following year, 2023, saw him clinch Ascension Americas alongside the same organization, earning their spot in the International League.
Shortly thereafter, The Guard ceased its involvement in the VALORANT esports landscape, leading to its roster being taken over by G2 Esports. During his time with G2, JonahP accumulated three regional championships and achieved a runner-up finish at Masters Bangkok 2025, prior to the organization’s decision to separate from him immediately preceding the commencement of the VCT 2026 season.
Sentinels to Implement an Additional Roster Adjustment
During the announcement concerning the departure of head coach Adam ‘kaplan’ Kaplan, Sentinels CEO Rob Moore disclosed that the organization intended to execute two modifications to its lineup before the VCT Stage 1 Americas. The initial change has now materialized with the addition of JonahP, while the subsequent adjustment is still pending an official revelation.
This strategic choice followed Sentinels’ performance at VCT Americas Kickoff 2026, where they secured only a single series victory, thus failing to advance to VALORANT Masters Santiago. With Ewok now at the helm as the new head coach and JonahP integrated into the team, Sentinels aims to reverse its fortunes in the forthcoming competitions.
