Curry flaunted his exceptional golfing prowess and crucial performance capabilities during a segment on Bryson DeChambeau’s YouTube channel, “Break 50,” recently. During the broadcast, Curry even achieved a longer drive than DeChambeau, a figure known for his prodigious hits.
Before the competition began, DeChambeau revealed that Curry had been a highly requested participant on the show. The program features DeChambeau joining forces with a notable personality to attempt a golf score under 50 on a specified course. Past guests include Tom Brady, Adam Sandler, and former President Donald Trump.
Once Curry commenced his first swing, it became clear why viewers wanted him featured against DeChambeau. Curry propelled the ball precisely onto the green, leaving it only a few feet from the cup. He successfully completed the putt in the subsequent shot, granting the team an early advantage.
Curry demonstrated an almost impeccable game early on, negating the need for DeChambeau to make any putts in the opening holes. After a near miss on the fourth hole, DeChambeau finally had an opportunity to sink his first putt of the day. He successfully did so, sustaining the team’s pursuit of a sub-50 score.

Both competitors showcased a commanding display. Curry and DeChambeau managed to match par on merely one of the holes played. However, they dominated in other aspects, scoring numerous eagles, enabling them to achieve a final score of 49, thereby fulfilling their ambition of breaking 50.
While DeChambeau’s exceptional golf was anticipated, Curry’s outstanding performance was particularly noteworthy. DeChambeau playfully suggested Curry should pursue a career in professional golf after completing the final hole. Curry brushed it aside, advising DeChambeau not to encourage him.
It is unlikely that Curry will transition to another sport soon. Still regarded as a top player in the NBA, the 37-year-old averaged 24.5 points last season while playing for the Warriors.
