The eSports group Team Liquid has made public the exit of Kim ‘Reignover‘ Yeu-jin from their League of Legends coaching personnel.
The former woodsman became a part of the North American eSports establishment as a coach near the close of 2022.
Disclosed on October 7th, 2025, Reignover’s departure denotes the conclusion of his three-year period as Team Liquid’s Assistant and Main Coach.
Across the past three years, Reignover steered the squad to the LCS 2024 Spring title joined with success at the LTA 2025 Cross-Conference contest. Additional outstanding honors encompass a pair of World Championship showings and a top-four placement at the Esports World Cup 2024.
“Great affection to the devotees, competitors, and coaches who have confided in and backed me across the past three years,” stated Reignover on social media.
“My duration in Team Liquid has been especially unique. It’s been a locale where I’ve constantly wanted to exist, appreciating each day with amusement, zeal and contentment. I will constantly bear these comforting memories.”
The departure of Reignover trails a disappointing LTA North Split 3 drive, where Team Liquid merely scored a top-six position. As a consequence of the showing, the squad didn’t achieve qualification for the LTA Championship and passed up a spot at this year’s League of Legends World Championship.
Further Team Liquid Modifications
Subsequent to failing to achieve qualification for Worlds, Team Liquid’s off-season has already presented multiple modifications to its listing and coaching arrangement. In September, Jeong ‘Impact’ Eon-young proclaimed his departure from the top lane responsibility subsequent to coming back to the squad in 2023.
In complement to Reignover leaving the Main Coach standing, Team Liquid’s provisional Main Coach and Assistant Coach, Simon ‘Swiffer’ Papamarkos, departed on October 1st.
Per the Global Contract Database, Jo ‘CoreJJ‘ Yong-in’s contract lapses near the conclusion of 2025, unlocking the entrance for supplementary modifications to Team Liquid’s listing as it gears up for the return of the LCS in 2026.
