Tsitsipas and Ivanisevic End Coaching Partnership

“With our paths now diverging, my regard for Goran remains strong – acknowledging both his tennis accomplishments and his personal qualities.”

Tsitsipas attained a peak ranking of world number three, finishing as runner-up to Djokovic at both the 2021 Roland Garros and the 2023 Australian Open.

His current ranking stands at 29th, and he hasn’t progressed past the second round of a Grand Slam tournament since the French Open of the previous year.

“We’ve had numerous conversations. Should he address certain off-court matters, he will undoubtedly reclaim his rightful position,” Ivanisevic shared with Serbian media source Sportklub following Tsitsipas’ departure from Wimbledon.

“I’ve never witnessed an athlete less prepared. Even with my knee condition, my fitness level surpasses his threefold. It’s truly concerning.”

Ivanisevic also briefly coached former Wimbledon victor Elena Rybakina at the beginning of this year.
