UEFA has announced the selected stadiums for both the 2028 and 2029 Champions League and Women’s Champions League deciders, naming Munich and Barcelona as the hosts for the men’s final matches.
Munich’s Allianz Arena is scheduled to host the 2028 Champions League final, whereas the newly renovated Camp Nou in Barcelona will welcome the 2029 championship match.
These determinations were finalized by the UEFA Executive Committee during their Tuesday gathering in Thessaloniki, following a formal bidding procedure to choose the locations.
This will mark the third occasion that the Allianz Arena, home of Bayern Munich, serves as the venue for a Champions League final, following the 2012 and 2025 editions, whereas the Camp Nou is set to hold the prestigious event for the first time since 1999.
Destinations for the Women’s Champions League finals have likewise been decided, with Lyon chosen to host the 2028 match and Cardiff selected to stage the 2029 title clash.
The 2028 women’s decider will be held at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais in Lyon, while the 2029 showcase is slated for the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
Prior to those, the Metropolitano Stadium of Atlético de Madrid will host the 2027 Champions League final, and the 2027 Women’s Champions League final will be staged in Warsaw.
Concurrently, the National Arena situated in Bucharest and the National Stadium located in Belgrade have been designated to stage their respective Europa League finals.
