The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held its latest card at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle this evening, where four combatants were awarded post-fight performance incentives.
The main event of the fight night showcased a much-anticipated clash in the middleweight division, pitting Israel Adesanya against Joe Pyfer. This contest evolved into an intense, seesaw battle. Adesanya commenced the initial round vigorously, seemingly inflicting significant damage on Pyfer’s front leg. Nevertheless, ‘Bodybagz’ capitalized on Izzy’s forward pressure, executing a crucial takedown and achieving full mount in the second stanza. From this dominant position, Pyfer delivered a relentless barrage of ground strikes, prompting the referee to intervene and halt the contest. This marked a remarkable victory for the American competitor, and a moment of missed opportunity for ‘Stylebender’.
Serving as the co-main event for UFC Seattle was a pivotal encounter in the women’s flyweight category featuring Maycee Barber and Alexa Grasso. Their second meeting culminated in one of the most frightening knockouts observed in recent times. Grasso landed a powerful left punch halfway through the first round, a strike that caused Barber to collapse to the canvas, completely unconscious. ‘The Future’ stayed motionless for more than sixty seconds but, fortunately, regained consciousness and departed the fighting cage unassisted.
After the culmination of this evening’s proceedings, spokespersons for the UFC revealed during the post-fight media briefing that four athletes would be receiving additional monetary rewards for their performances.

Bout of the Evening: Lightweight competitors Ignacio Bahamondes and Tofiq Musayev were each awarded $100,000 for their electrifying encounter during the featured preliminary card at this evening’s UFC Seattle event. Musayev emerged victorious through a unanimous decision.
Outstanding Individual Performance: Alexa Grasso secured an additional $100,000 following her devastating first-round knockout triumph against Maycee Barber (view the highlights here).
Outstanding Individual Performance: Joe Pyfer received an additional $100,000 for his technical knockout win in the second round against former middleweight titleholder Israel Adesanya (footage available here).
