For the 2025 US Open tournament held in New York, the champions of both the men’s and women’s singles categories are set to receive £3.74 million ($5 million) each in prize winnings.
This represents a 39% increase in the prize fund compared to 2024, a year in which Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka, the victors at Flushing Meadows, were each awarded £2.84 million ($3.6 million).
Among all Grand Slam events, the US Open offers the most substantial overall prize money, distributing a total of £67.3 million ($90 million) across its men’s, women’s, doubles, and wheelchair divisions.
For comparison, the other Grand Slam tournaments in 2025 have allocated £53.5 million for Wimbledon, £47 million for the Australian Open, and £49 million for the French Open.
