Tsitsipas attained a career-high ranking of third globally, finishing as the runner-up to Djokovic at both the 2021 Roland Garros and the 2023 Australian Open.

“We’ve had numerous conversations. If he addresses certain issues outside of tennis, he’ll undoubtedly regain his previous standing,” Ivanisevic commented to the Serbian news source Sportklub following Tsitsipas’ departure from Wimbledon.
“I’ve never witnessed an athlete so lacking in preparation. Even with my knee condition, my fitness surpasses his threefold. It’s truly concerning.”
Ivanisevic also briefly collaborated with Elena Rybakina, a former champion at Wimbledon, earlier this year.
